Dr. Alberto Pelaez is a physician certified in Age Management Medicine whose practice is grounded in personalized, evidence-based strategies designed to optimize health, performance, and confidence across the lifespan. As a member of the Cenegenics Puerto Rico team, he partners with individuals who seek proactive, physician-led care that goes beyond traditional medicine.
Dr. Pelaez earned his medical degree from the University Health Sciences Antigua (UHSA) and completed a transitional internship at Hospital El Maestro in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He went on to complete advanced training and the Cenegenics Fellowship in Age Management Medicine through the Cenegenics Education & Research Foundation, solidifying his focus on preventive care, hormone optimization, and long-term vitality.
At Cenegenics, Dr. Pelaez designs individualized longevity programs that integrate advanced diagnostics, hormone balance, lifestyle optimization, and performance health strategies. His approach reflects a belief that optimal aging requires precision, accountability, and care tailored to each person’s unique physiology and goals.
In addition to longevity medicine, Dr. Pelaez is trained in aesthetic medicine and holds certification in SmartGraft follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplantation. Dr. Pelaez also served as a physician in the United States Air Force, where he gained valuable experience in military medicine, operational readiness, and high-performance healthcare environments. He later transitioned to the Inactive Ready Reserve. This background instilled a disciplined, mission-driven approach that continues to shape his clinical philosophy today.
